Finally, the day has come!
Alhamdulillah, sejak hampir 50 hari mencari kerja dengan seriusnya, akhirnya penulis dipanggil untuk satu temuduga di syarikat yang berhampiran dengan rumah penulis. Hanya 15 minit perjalanan. Syarikat semiconductor yang tidaklah sefamous syarikat seperti motorola,intel,freescale mahupun infineon. Syarikat biasa-biasa je.
Hari jumaat(8/7/2011) ialah harinya. Jam 4.30 petang. Dipanggil untuk jawatan die prep engineer. Apa punye position daa?Ketika ini, tercari-cari juga bila penulis apply untuk jawatan ini. Rasanya sejak awal bulan Jun yang lalu penulis apply. Jam 3.15 petang sudah mula untuk bersiap-siap. Kemeja dipakai, seluar disarung, tali leher diikat, rambut disisipkan dan siap untuk ke tempat temuduga.
Penulis tiba jam 4.20 petang. Diminta untuk mengisi borang terlebih dahulu. Sementara menunggu dipanggil masuk ke bilik temuduga, penulis diberi buku "Engineering". Boleh tahan tempat ni nak suruh study dulu. hahaha. Kelibat dua orang penemuduga. Seorang lelaki dan seorang perempuan. Chinese dan melayu. Habis segala gemuruh. Jantung berdegup kencang. Tangan sudah pucat dan semakin sejuk.
"Tell us about yourself"
Soalan standard lagi.
"What do you know about this company?"
Mujur sempat baca sebelum pergi interview.hehe.
"When you walk through this company, what is your expectation?"
Yang ni dah start mengarut. Penulis jawab, I saw very security tight here and I'm thinking that your company have very expensive equipment costs more that billions.
"I see in your resume, you are more interested in medical field but you are apply for semiconductor company. So, why would you do that?"
Haiyaak!mestilah sebab nak kerja. Carik duit. Pe daa.Tapi, penulis jawab pun mengarut jugak yang ni.
"What is your hobby?"
I Like to travel.
"Where have you been?"
I have been to Bandung, Phnom Penh, Bangkok, Singapore, Seoul and all over the Penisular.
"Ok, let me tell you this. If you are accepted here, you will spend most of your time in this company. This is manufacturing company and we are producing 60 millions product per day. So, you will not be able to travel to anywhere and you are going to be here most of the time. You will work more than 12 hours even during weekend as well. Can you cope with that?"
I'm speechless.
Thank you for your time coming here. We really appreciate that. Our HR will call you in a week.

Wee..boleh ke ko nak duduk dalam company tu tuk 12jam tanpa henti? Dah ghupa tak da life plak..hehehe.. Tak bleh nak pi jalan2x... Carilah company yang suka anta orang kuar jenjalan..baru best..Wahaha
agak la..tuh yg macam termenung jugak lepas interview..hahahha..
